ST Columba the Virgin, was born of pagan parents the King and Queen of Lothian in the late 5th century.A spring arose at the place were she was killed by a prince who she was betrothed to against her will.Were her blood poured on to the ground the spring flowed forth.Des has reworked the design from the original weather worn cross.
