Here I have the Govan Knot of Argyle in 9ct Rose Gold, set in a solid cell of sterling silver. The inspiration for the style of this work are the beautiful decorated rivet heads of the Derrynaflan Paten Stand. Also, the Ardagh Chalice and various other examples of cloisonné studs in the 7th century have been sources of inspiration.
This is fairly solid in weight, and 2cm in diameter.
